The Yankees' mighty bullpen is about to get even stronger.

The Bombers and Baltimore Orioles have agreed to a trade that will send closer Zach Britton to New York, WFAN baseball insider Jon Heyman reported Tuesday night. The deal is pending physicals.

According to the New York Post's Joel Sherman, the Yankees are giving up minor league pitchers Dillon Tate, Cody Carroll and Josh Rogers in the deal. MLB.com ranks Tate as the ninth best prospect in the Yankees' farm system and Carroll as the 15th best. Rogers is not among the organization's top 30.

Cody Carroll is a reliever who caught many scouts' attention with a good spring training and had All-Star first half at AAA.Dillon Tate is a former 1st rounder Yanks got from TEX in 2016 Beltran trade.Josh Rogers is LH starter with good K/BB numbers in minor league career.

Through 16 appearances this season, Britton, 30, is 1-0 with a 3.45 ERA and four saves. The left-hander missed the first 2 1/2 months after rupturing his right Achilles tendon during an offseason workout.

The two-time All-Star led the American League with 47 saves in 2016. He is set to become a free agent after the season.

Britton joins a Yankees bullpen that already includes Aroldis Chapman, Dellin Betances, David Robertson, Chad Green and Jonathan Holder. New York entered Tuesday night's game leading the majors in ERA among relief pitchers at 2.75.
