The Kawhi Leonard-to-Knicks speculation hasn't been nearly as intense as the Kevin Durant-to-Knicks talk in recent months, but that doesn't mean it's dead, either.
According to SNY's Ian Begley, some people around Leonard view New York as a potential landing spot for the two-time NBA Finals MVP, who is expected to decline his $21.3 million option with the world champion Toronto Raptors and become a free agent.
Leonard, who turns 28 later this month, is a three-time All-Star who is coming off his best season yet. The 6-foot-7 small forward averaged 26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 steals in 60 games this past season and also enjoyed a stellar run through the playoffs.
