The New York Giants will seek a second opinion on Evan Engram's injury, which caused him to miss the final drive of Monday's loss to Dallas.
Head coach Pat Shurmur indicated Engram was dealing with a sore foot following the game. The tight end missed practice on Wednesday and is uncertain if he'll play next week against the Jets.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Giants plan to send Engram's MRI to Dr. Robert Anderson for a second opinion. Anderson is the same foot and ankle specialist running back Saquon Barkley met with in September as he dealt with a high-ankle sprain.

Shurmur didn't sound optimistic regarding Engram's availability in Week 10. He said Engram sustained a "mid-foot sprain" and he could be sidelined from anywhere between a couple of days to a few weeks. Engram is in a walking boot, according to multiple reports.
Engram missed one game this season due to a knee injury. He sat out of New York's Week 6 loss to the Patriots, but returned the following week. With wide receiver Sterling Shepard out of practice (concussion), Engram's absence would leave a sizable void in the Giants' offense if he were to miss the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old leads the Giants in receptions (44), receiving yards (467) and touchdowns (3).
Rhett Ellison, who caught 15 passes for 125 yards, one touchdown this season, and Kaden Smith are listed behind Engram on the Giants' depth chart.
