The New York Jets and Giants have taken precautionary measures regarding its respective front office staffs.
Both teams have removed their scouts and other coaches from the road due to the growing concern of COVID-19 (coronavirus) for the foreseeable future, according to multiple reports. With the NFL Draft nearly one month away, there is arguably no busier time for the scouting department.
Most personnel were already on the road to catch a glimpse at the top players set to be selected in April's draft. The NCAA began its annual "Pro Day," where scouts are permitted to visit specific programs and watch prospects participate in combine-related events.

— Brian Costello (@BrianCoz) March 12, 2020The final pro day workout was set to conclude on April 5, which would've kept most scouts on the road as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued warnings about traveling throughout the United States.
The Redskins are among the teams to join the Giants and Jets to suspend travel. The NFL has also canceled all facility invites for the draft-eligible players, according to Select Sports' Erik Burkhardt.
As most of the top four major sports leagues have postponed their seasons, the attention turns to the NFL Draft, the league's most significant offseason event. No official announcement has been made to cancel the event, but the NFL is "monitoring" the health situation, according to Dallas News' Michael Gehlkin.
The NBA made the decision to suspend its season after multiple players were tested positive for coronavirus. On Thursday, the NHL suspended its season and Major League Soccer implimented a 30-day suspension period of its schedule.
The NFL, however, may not suffer a suspension of play as the league has "no plans" to move the start, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
