Knicks guard Ron Baker has exercised his $4.5 million option for next season, according to multiple reports.
The move was expected after a sore ankle, orbital fracture, dislocated shoulder and torn labrum limited Baker to just 29 games last season. He averaged 2.4 points, 1.6 assists and 1.0 rebounds in those games.
The Knicks re-signed Baker, 25, to a two-year, $8.9 million contract last July that included the second-year player option. He was undrafted coming out of Wichita State in 2016 and averaged 4.1 points, 2.1 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 52 games as a rookie.

Baker underwent arthroscopic shoulder surgery in February.
The Knicks are still awaiting word on two other players with options: Enes Kanter ($18.6 million) and Kyle O'Quinn ($4.2 million).
