The New York Mets have reportedly limited the access for their players at Clover Park facility in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Players have been shut out from the facility for organized workouts, according to Newsday's Tim Healey. However, Mets players are still allowed to use Clover Park's gym and receive medical treatment.
The Mets have since taken measures to pay their minor league players after MLB "encouraged" players in the Grapefruit and Cactus Leagues to head home.
Mets' minor leaguers will receive an undisclosed stipend and earn what they would've earned during spring training, according to Baseball America's Kyle Glaser. The move has become a norm as sports leagues deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
Players within the Tampa Bay Rays organization are set to receive a one-time payment worth $800, according to NBC Sports. The Los Angeles Dodgers followed Tampa Bay and New York's lead.
