Rutgers' first stay in the AP Top 25 in 41 years lasted just two weeks.

After falling to Michigan 69-63 on Saturday at Madison Square Garden, the Scarlet Knights (16-6, 7-4 Big Ten) tumbled out of the rankings Monday. They were No. 25 last week.

Rutgers, which still received 12 votes, will have an opportunity Tuesday to gain some attention -- and potentially win over some voters -- when it travels to play No. 9 Maryland.

Meanwhile, Seton Hall fell from No. 10 to No. 12 after being upset at home by Xavier 74-62 on Saturday. The loss snapped the Pirates' (16-5, 8-1 Big East) 10-game winning streak.

For the second week in a row, there was no movement in the top four, with Baylor at No. 1.
