This year, fans aren't getting the chance to watch their favorite players (and many other guys they've never heard of) work out at various NFL training camps, so they have to rely on social media and news highlights to find out what's going on at camp.
Jets fans, we got you for this one, because here's a positive first look at the team's third-round pick, defensive back and kick returner Ashtyn Davis…as a receiver?
Okay, maybe not, but in the video below, you can see that Davis, who was a wideout in high school before walking on to Cal's football team as a sophomore, certainly has the hands to get his hands on the ball on either side, and the agility to elude to boot based on this sweet backflip he pulled off in the midst of catching a pass during a light moment in camp.
Check it out below, and then, perhaps, dream that maybe, as banged up as the Jets' wide receiver corps is already, that perhaps Davis could be a reverse Troy Brown?
