The Yankees have reportedly reached an agreement to buy back the YES Network from Disney for $3.4 billion.
According to Fox Business, the Yankees will be the majority owner of the network. Amazon and the Sinclair Broadcast Group will own minority stakes, which could result in Yankees games being broadcast on Sinclair's TV stations around the country or streamed to a national audience through Amazon, the report said.
Private equity firm Blackstone is also reportedly a partner in the purchase.
The deal is expected to close Friday.

In addition to Yankees games, the YES Network airs Brooklyn Nets and NYCFC games.
21st Century Fox, which is being acquired by Disney, had owned 80 percent of YES. Disney is being required to sell the 22 regional sports networks it gained in the deal to satisfy federal antitrust requirements.
Spokespeople for both the Yankees and Disney declined to comment to Fox.
