CC Sabathia will officially announce Saturday that 2019 will be his final season, according to multiple reports.
The 38-year-old left-handed pitcher will hold a news conference Saturday at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida, to announce his retirement, reports said.
CC Sabathia is having a press conference Saturday. Told that nothing dramatic has changed because of his health; he's still pitching this year. Yankees aren't confirming this, but it's likely a chance to make official what he already said about retirement after 2019.

Sabathia is entering his 19th year in the majors, his 11th with the Yankees. He is 246-153 with a 3.70 ERA and 2,986 strikeouts over his career.
