NEW YORK (WFAN) - The Giants may be officially eliminated from the playoffs, but that doesn't mean Odell Beckham Jr. is ready to hang up his cleats for the remainder of the year.
New York's star wide receiver has been dealing with a quad injury that has forced him to miss a few games. Beckham played through the injury in Week 13 before sitting out the Giants' next two games, which has led to some people questioning whether or not the talented receiver is nursing the injury because he doesn't want to risk playing hurt now that the team's playoff hopes are done.
Speaking to the media Thursday, the three-time Pro Bowl receiver made it very clear that he has no plans on sitting out just to preserve his body.

"If I can play I'm gonna play," Beckham told reporters. "That's the bottom line."
Beckham missed practice for the second straight day Thursday, making it two full weeks since the last time he participated in a practice session.
The star receiver was seen working on the sidelines with trainers Thursday, making it unlikely that he will be able to suit up for New York's Week 16 road matchup against the Colts.
"You work to play these games and to be out there with your brothers," said Beckham. "I want to come back and finish the season strong...I'm definitely feeling better. I'm just taking it one day at a time and that's all I can do at this point. Just trying to find my way back."
Giants head coach Pat Shurmur has reiterated Beckham's feelings on playing throughout the week, telling reporters that the team has no plans on shutting him down now just because they've been eliminated from playoff contention.
New York could certainly use their star receiver on the field in Indianapolis after the offense was shutout against the Titans at MetLife Stadium in Week 15.
