Reggie Bullock Has Surgery To Repair Cervical Disc Herniation

The newly-signed Reggie Bullock has underwent successful surgery to repair a cervical disc herniation, the Knicks announced Wednesday afternoon.

The team will plan on providing an update on Bullock's recovery around the start of training camp.

Bullock had reportedly agreed to a two-year, $21 million contract with the Knicks when free agency opened earlier this month, but this medical issue forced the two sides to agree to new terms.

New York wound up signing the 6-foot-7 shooting guard to a two-year, $8.2 million deal, with the second year being a team option.

Bullock, 28, was a first-round pick by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2013.

The 6-foot-7 205-pounder split the 2018-19 season between the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 11.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
