It's no secret that the Jets are in the market for some playmakers on offense.

Two of New York's top three wide receivers from 2018 (Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse) are not currently under contract, meaning the front office will have to look towards free agency and the draft to find some pass-catchers for franchise QB Sam Darnold.

Jets Decline Option On DT Mike Pennel

It appears as if the Jets already have their eyes on one affordable wide receiver, as the team is interested in signing free agent Donte Moncrief, according to a report from New York Daily News' Manish Mehta.

Moncrief appeared in all 16 games for the Jaguars last season, catching 48 passes on 89 targets for 668 yards and three touchdowns.

The 25-year-old wide receiver played his first four NFL seasons for the Colts. Moncrief enjoyed his best season in 2015 when he finished with 64 receptions on 105 targets for 733 yards and six touchdowns.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound receiver has 200 receptions for 2,543 yards and 21 touchdowns in 69 career games.

The Jets will have upwards of $102 million in cap room this offseason.
