NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Jets linebacker Dylan Donahue voluntarily entered a treatment facility after being arrested on drunken-driving charges for the second time in less than a year.
Donahue, 25, was charged with DWI on Feb. 26 after driving the wrong way into the Lincoln Tunnel and striking a jitney bus head-on, authorities said. Four passengers aboard the bus suffered minor injuries.
Donahue was also arrested on a DUI charge in his hometown of Billings, Montana, on May 9, 2017, 10 days after the Jets drafted him in the fifth round out of West Georgia. He allegedly struck an unoccupied, parked pickup truck. Donahue has pleaded not guilty to that charge.
According to ESPN, Donahue checked himself into rehab shortly after his Lincoln Tunnel arrest.

"Dylan recognizes the seriousness of these issues and has voluntarily taken some important initial steps to deal with them," Donahue's agent, Gary Uberstine, told ESPN in a statement. "He is committed to this process of self-improvement, appreciates people respecting his privacy as he works to get healthy, and will address this matter publicly at an appropriate time."
The Jets said in a statement they are aware of Donahue's decision to enter a rehab facility.
"We respect and support Dylan's decision to seek treatment," the team said, according to ESPN. "It is important for him to focus on his health right now. The organization has a full support system in place when he is ready to return."
Donahue was a backup linebacker and special teams player as a rookie, seeing action in just three games last year before suffering a season-ending elbow injury in Week 4.
He is due in court April 11 in Weehawken, New Jersey, in connection with the Lincoln Tunnel incident.
