NEW YORK (WFAN) - For those Yankees fans hoping for Manny Machado for Christmas, it looks like you're going to have to wait a little bit longer.
Machado has informed the three known intersted teams- the Yankees, Phillies and White Sox- that he does not plan on making a decision on his next contract until after the new year, according to WFAN's Jon Heyman.

The superstar infielder is reportedly looking for a contract worth north of $300 million, but it remains to be seen if any of the interested teams are willing to guarantee that much money to the 26-year-old.
Machado hit .297/.367/.538 with 37 home runs and 104 RBI in 162 games between the Orioles and Dodgers last season.
The 26-year-old shortstop is a four-time All-Star and a two-time Gold Glove winner.
