When one door closes, another one opens.

Just a few hours after losing reliever David Robertson to the Phillies, the Yankees have appeared to turn their focus toward another familiar face in the team's quest to improve their bullpen.

According to WFAN's Jon Heyman, New York is zeroing in on Zach Britton, but the talented reliever has multiple offers on the table.

The Yankees acquired Britton from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for three prospects prior to the 2018 trade deadline.

Following the trade, the 31-year-old looked impressive in pinstripes. Britton earned a 2.88 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 25.0 innings in the Bronx.

Britton finished the season with a 3.10 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with 34 strikeouts in 40.2 innings.
