The Jets released Pryor after he suffered a groin tear. He originally signed a one-year, $4.5 million deal with Gang Green in March.
Pryor recorded 235 yards on 14 receptions for two touchdowns for the Jets prior to the injury.
He enjoyed one of his best games of the season the week before the Jets cut him -- six catches, 57 yards and a touchdown in a 42-34 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
The Jets reportedly had been interested in re-signing Pryor, but instead he's on his way to Orchard Park.
