The Giants have a crucial NFC East matchup on Thursday as they welcome the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles to MetLife Stadium.
Big Blue will get a boost on the defensive side of the ball though as Olivier Vernon is not listed on the team's final injury report, meaning the talented edge rusher is finally set to make his season debut.
Vernon has watched the whole season from the sidelines, as a high ankle sprain suffered during the preseason prevented him from suiting up in any of New York's first five games.
New York will be short-handed on offense though, as tight end Evan Engram (knee) and wide receiver Russell Shepard (neck) have both been ruled out for Thursday's contest.
Engram was able to get back on the practice field this week after suffering a mild MCL sprain against the Texans in Week 3, but did not do enough to receive the go-ahead to participate in Thursday's divisional clash.
Tight end Rhett Ellison (foot) is the only other Giant on the injury report and is listed as questionable.
