The Yankees announced Friday they have reinstated the veteran outfielder from the 10-day injured list. He's been out since straining his left calf June 21.

Maybin was enjoying a surprising season before the injury. The 32-year-old is batting .314 this season with five home runs and 14 RBIs. He has a .391 on-base percentage and .891 OPS, and he homered in four consecutive games during one stretch in June.
