WFAN’s holiday weekend slate of anniversary-themed programming included the returns of a slew of former hosts and WFAN personalities, and a lot of very special guests otherwise, as well as some special Best Of programming.
We didn’t forget about those who run the show at WFAN these days, either, and one of the more memorable segments on Friday night was John Jastremski getting some Hall of Fame dap on JJ After Dark with former NFL wide receiver and Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Reed.
And, just like everyone else, Reed has had a “new normal” in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
“I’m no different than anyone else – this pandemic the last few months has put a monkey wrench in everyone’s life; you just have to find out what’s important to you,” Reed told JJ. “I’ve just been working out a lot, and doing a lot of Zoom calls with others, and just trying to keep going forward. We’re in a time right now where normalcy is not there as far as everyday life, but we all have to hit the reset button and hopefully we get a reboot in every phase of life.”
Reed and JJ went on to discuss the NFL today, how social media has changed the game – and whether or not he wishes that was around in the 1980s – and a lot of other sports topics.
