The Mets have their first two starters lined up for Spring Training.

Manager Luis Rojas announced Saturday that RHP Harol Gonzalez will start Monday’s Grapefruit League opener against the Marlins, while RHP Jordan Yamamoto will toe the rubber for Tuesday’s home spring opener against the Astros.

Gonzalez, 25, was a non-roster invitee this spring. He did not pitch in 2020, but in 25 outings between Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Syracuse in 2019, he went 12-4 with a 3.01 ERA in 137 2/3 innings.

Yamamoto, 24, was acquired from the Marlins in February for Federico Polanco. Over two seasons in Miami, Yamamoto is 4-6 with a 6.20 ERA, including four appearance during the truncated 2020 season.

The righty may be competing for a spot at the back end of the Mets’ rotation, but he does have one minor-league option remaining.
