MLB Network is adding another manager to its team.

Former MLB skipper Buck Showalter is joining the league’s network and will make his debut on Tuesday at 2 p.m. on “MLB Tonight,” according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post.

Showalter, who has had several managerial stints over the last three decades, is no stranger to television, either. He has spent time between managing jobs as an analyst for ESPN and currently serves as a studio analyst with the YES Network for the Yankees.

The 64-year-old will split time between gigs at YES and MLB Network.

Showalter essentially fills a void at MLB Network that was left by Joe Girardi, who was hired as the Philadelphia Phillies manager this offseason.

Coincidentally, Showalter was reportedly among the final candidates for the Phillies job with management split on which of the two to hire.

Showalter last managed in MLB in 2018 with the Baltimore Orioles before he was ultimately fired after a franchise-worst 115-loss season. The three-time AL Manager of the Year has also managed the Yankees, Diamondbacks and Rangers, and holds a career .506 winning percentage on the bench.
