The Weeknd will light up the halftime stage at Super Bowl LV on Sunday…and hours later, you can get your chance to see him live in the first concert planned for the new UBS Arena!
On Wednesday, UBS Arena announced that the megastar will perform at the soon-to-open venue on Thursday, April 7, 2022, marking the first concert announced and first to go on sale for UBS Arena! Tickets go on sale THIS MONDAY, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m. at TheWeeknd.com/Tour, making it a huge three-day Weeknd for NYC!
It's also the end of a big four days for the artist himself, as he releases his new album, "The Highlights," on Friday, before performing the most-watched TV concert of the year on Sunday evening.
The Weeknd's performance at UBS Arena is one of 104 dates on a planned year-long "After Hours World Tour," which begins on Jan. 14, 2022, in Vancouver, Canada, and wraps up in London on Nov. 16, 2022. The tour, which includes some rescheduled dates from 2021, will feature a half-dozen stops in the Tri-State Area, but the April 7 date is the only one at UBS Arena!
We realize that by this point, you probably Can't Feel Your Face…but Save Your Tears, because this isn't a Wicked Game. Get ready for the Blinding Lights, log on to TheWeekend.com/Tour at 10 a.m. Feb. 8, and Smile when you get your tix for the first announced concert at UBS Arena!
