Aaron Judge wants back in the Yankees lineup for the Division Series, but his uncertain role creates a major roster decision. Evan Roberts, Tiki Barber and Shaun Morash debate whether Judge can handle the outfield, especially on Tampa Bay’s turf, and whether his return could make Giancarlo Stanton expendable after Stanton never received an at-bat against Boston.
The guys are stunned the Yankees never used Stanton even with the Wild Card clincher out of reach, raising questions about whether he was truly part of their plans or simply a threat off the bench. Evan argues that even a less-than-100-percent Judge changes how opponents attack the Yankees lineup, while the crew debates whether the Wild Card round even feels like the real postseason.
