Only the good die young?

Apparently, to Al Dukes, 70 is the age cutoff for “dying young,” and when Al said he would take 70 – meaning retirement age, not death age – Jerry was confused.

“You’re almost 52, are you out of your mind?”

Al would, however, maybe take 75…but when Eddie threw in a popular Al drop, we heard Mr. Dukes’ wishes if he dies the year before he turns 70.

“If I die at 69, I just want big balloons that say ‘69’,” Al said. “I was born in ’69 and I’d die at 69.”

“That’s only 17 years away,” Jerry reminded, and then Eddie came in with the zinger…poor Gina!
