J.A. Happ was at a loss for words when asked about the Yankees' opener-combo strategy (and it backfiring) after Tuesday night's loss, which is something the Boomer & Gio crew discussed at length during Wednesday's show.
And then, after some Happ audio, Gio had a little impression fun, this time with friend of the program Bruce Beck from WNBC, who is known to be able to make a tough moment as light as possible.
"And then, after Boone has been getting grilled by reporters, Bruce Beck came in and said, 'Hey Aaron, we're almost a month away from Thanksgiving…how cool is that? What's your favorite dish?" Gio Beck wondered.
And then, when Jerry forgot what day it was (and Eddie dropped in with some angry Jerry), Gio doubled down:
"How cool is Christmas, Aaron?"
