Jalen Hurts’ “flushing a deuce” metaphor to describe the Eagles moving on from Monday’s loss to the Cowboys sparked a weird, and somewhat disgusting, Moment of the Day.
“You take you a deuce, you don’t sit there and look at it,” Hurts said after Philadelphia’s loss on Monday Night Football. “You flush it and move on. We gonna flush it and move on.”
Well, apparently some people prefer to “sit there and look at it” sometimes, one of them being Boomer Esiason.
“I showed Phil Simms once,” Boomer said, referring to his work with the fellow former quarterback at CBS.
Boomer said he had the urge to show Simms his “bathroom work” one time and that Simms actually came to check it out.
“‘Wow,’” Boomer said was Simms’ reaction.
Then Gio had to break into a Simms impression.
“Some people look at Boomer’s turds and say ‘That’s the biggest turd I’ve ever seen!’” Gio said.
