Okay, we get it, and we hear the rumors too: you think you know what's going on with our old pal Craiggy, and him coming back, and yada yada yada. No comment there, but Gio had no problem discussing it…by morphing into the "Mad Gregg" for the Moment of the Day!
The set-up: apparently, people have been calling into another show featuring another old pal asking about what's going on here (scuttlebutt!), leading Boomer to wonder if our boss has been usurped by a rabid canine named Chris…and that's when Mad Gregg went into action.
"You know what happens is these listeners think they know everything…Dog over there, nothing's getting him going, and then a caller will call up and ask what you think is going on at WFAN," Gregg (as Gio) said. "He knows when he answers that, someone will write about it."
And here comes the Dog.
"'Did somebody pick that up at WFAN? Somebody post that?'" Gio spoofed. "I can see him, going to break, glasses on the end of the nose, going 'that'll be in the paypuh! Cherny's gonna hate me!'"
Then it got weird, what with Gio adding on to the Moment by talking about whipped cream bikinis and Ack's full body condom and…man, we're gonna need a TV-MA rating on this post if we continue!
