Jerry Recco turned down a meal invite from Boomer to uphold his commitment to coaching youth fall ball, and when Nick called in to ask Boomer about the lack of gratitude among his co-hosts…all hell broke loose, and so did the Moment of the Day.
"Hey Nick, EAT IT!" Jerry jumped in. "I certainly hope you don't coach any kids! 'Sorry guys, game's canceled, I'm gonna go out to lunch with some schmuck!'"
"Wait, now I'm a schmuck?" Boomer replied. "Is Jerry trying to Golden Tate his way out of the morning show?"
Jerry later apologized, and Gio was just happy that he may have come up with a great new show title: "Lunch with a Schmuck." Now, as long as Mrs. Recco doesn't start Tweeting about Booms…
