We almost got a last-minute re-write thanks to some controversy on the pronunciation of Hublot…but Jerry just couldn’t go away from the earlier discussion of Al calling Craig on Thursday to discuss Dave Dombrowski being hired in Philly – something even AL knew was big.
“I just thought perhaps there was something here,” Al said. “Show’s over, here’s this Dave Dombrowski thing to do four hours on!”
“And it lasted all of three minutes,” Jerry chimed in.
Story of Al’s life, and as the gang discussed it and Gio noted they were waist-deep in Dombrowski talk, Jerry asked how Al the talk show host would further it.
Channeling his inner Joe, Al responded: “How about that?”
