The boys were talking about catching metrics this morning, and how they apply to New York's current and potentially future catchers, and Gio went down the rabbit hole on Gary Sanchez to find some interestingly-acronymed metrics that make FLUMP look normal.
"Catcher defensive adjustment, CDA, is now a stat people look at…he was 111th out of 123 qualified catchers," Gio said about the Sanchize. "Now I'll give you another one: FRAA."
"Am I being Benigno'ed right now?" Jerry asked, to which Gio shot back: "No, this isn't FLUMP, it's an actual stat."
As the boys tried to figure out what FRAA stood for (Fielding Runs Above Average, and they got all but the third word), in came Eddie with a perfectly-time Al drop to figure out the fourth:
"Anus!"
BUTT wait, there's more!
"Fielding Runs Anus Advantage, that's what he's leading the league in," Gio laughed after the clip was replayed, and it was revealed that Boomer hadn't heard the key word drop the first time.
Don't blame Booms; he might have been sleepy still considering the exchange happened just after the crack of dawn, and is also probably not down with O.P.P., either.
