The calendar may have changed today, but some things never do on the Boomer & Gio Show – like, say, their proclivities to bust the stones of those they love and care about.
Tuesday's victim was WFAN part-time host and SNY contributor Sal Licata, whose optics during a TV appearance on Monday left Gio & Jerry wondering if Sal needed a stylist.
"He looks like Adam Silver!" Gio laughed. "It's scary!"
"He looks like an old man! What is he, like 40?" Jerry asked.
"I think he's three or four years older than me; I'm 38, so he's 40 or 41?" Gio wondered. "And then the Moose house in the background, with the empty Crate & Barrel boxes in the background. Can we move those out of the shot? And what about the half-eaten apple on the table?"
"Now all I can see is mean Adam Silver when I see Sal," Jerry laughed. "I love Sal…terrible look."
Things didn't get any better when the MOTD was played and Jerry & Gio came back live.
"Someone sent us a screenshot from the movie Powder," Gio noted, with Jerry responding, "I didn't know what that was all about, so I left it alone!"
As Gio again said, they bust the chops of those they love most, so Sal, they love ya, they really love ya!
