As the Morning Show crew nears full vaccination, Gio is ready to get a taste of the old norm, but Eddie Scozzare put him in his place in today's Moment of the Day.
Gio is growing tired of some of the protocols in the office, particularly wearing masks in the hallways, but when he brought up the idea of walking through the hallways with a naked face, Eddie was ready to pounce.
"Just put on the effin mask," Eddie said.
Gio was taken aback by the spirited response, to say the least.
"Why are you getting all upset?" Gio said. "We're all fully vaccinated! What if I don't want to wear a mask?"
Eddie, sticking to his law-abiding guns, wouldn't back down from his desire to follow the rules.
"Tell the company 'I am not following company policy,'" he replied.
Eddie's stance confused Gio and Jerry Recco, who are used to a much different version of Eddie.
"He's so anti-establishment, against-the-grain, and when it comes to something like this, 'just shut up and wear the mask, you punk face b*tch,'" Gio said. "'Man up and follow the rules like I have my entire career.'"
Safe to say Gio will be throwing his mask on if he passes Eddie in the halls.
