The Boomer & Gio crew were in a game show mood on Friday, and a timely audio drop from Eddie Scozzare became today's Moment of the Day.
The crew was discussing legendary weather forecaster and TV personality Al Roker, and the shoes that will have to be filled in the weather world whenever Roker retires, which jogged Boomer's memory of an episode of Family Feud.
"Speaking of Al Roker, I was watching for some reason Family Feud, and there was a question about Al Roker," Boomer said. "They asked 100 women why they would want to be married to Al Roker."
Al Dukes quickly brought up the Family Feud theme music, and Gio went to work in guessing the answers. Gio correctly guessed Roker's salary and personality as two of the top six answers that Boomer remembered from his Family Feud watch, and then Boomer chimed in with an answer.
"Huuuuuge penis!"
OK, it wasn't exactly Boomer. Well, it was, just not in a Roker context. It was Eddie Scozzare playing back one of his favorite audio clips of Boomer, seemingly having it at the ready for any moment that it calls for. This was one of those moments.
"That's the true talent of Eddie," Gio said. "He can find the Family Feud music in four seconds, and the 'huuuuge penis' drop in two."
Boomer tried to stand up for himself, but the tape don't lie.
"Do you really think I'd say that Jerry?" Boomer asked.
"You did say it!" Jerry Recco said. "That was you."
