A snowstorm is bearing down on NYC, which could complicate Jerry Recco's return home from calling Rutgers' game in Michigan. C-Lo has a scheduling conflict (he's working tomorrow night), so Boomer & Gio might be without an update anchor (and Al without a Warm-Up Show partner) on Friday.
Since those auditions after C-Lo's un-sick day didn't yield a new star, Gio nominated Peter Schwartz for the job…and that's when the mania began in Thursday's Moment of the Day!
"The timing of this is interesting. I know Eddie needs to stay in, because he has no choice, but I feel like Peter could put a couple of tennis rackets on his feet and just walk in," Gio said. "If worse came to worst, just put a backpack and one of those gaiters on him and get him going."
"That would be quite a scene," C-Lo quipped.
"The Peter Schwartz Iditarod is something that needs to happen," Gio said. "He rounds up a couple of huskies to get him into work. 'MUSH! MUSH! This is my big opportunity!'"
That led to a discussion of who might be on the docket, and Gio's always-great impression of our esteemed boss…but you'll have to tune in tomorrow to see who's in the third (fourth or fifth?) chair!
