"Speaking of making love, the Minnesota Twins…"
That's what Evan Roberts meant to say during Thursday's Carton & Roberts Show, but it sounded like he said "speaka maka love," and the morning show was ALL over it on a Feel Good Friday.
"What does that mean?" Boomer asked.
"That's Evan, he loves baseball! Apparently the Twins remind him of making love," Jerry answered. "What a weird thing to say!"
Indeed, but Eddie really hammered with another making love drop from Evan, and, well, the guys couldn't not laugh.
"What is going on with him? Man, Craig has changed him," Boomer said.
"Is that the only way he can perform, is to think about baseball to perform?" Jerry shot back.
And then it became an Austin Powers skit, with the guys yelling out random Twins' names the way Austin used "Margaret Thatcher naked on a cold day" to quell his fires…
"Some guys used to think about baseball to deflate?" Gio said. "Well, Evan thinks about baseball to inflate!"
A wonderful MOTD to cap off a week…but we're disappointed that THE quintessential Evan drop didn't make it…I'M GETTIN' MOIST!
