Eddie Scozzare, big tipper?
Our audio master was invited to Gunnar Esiason’s wedding over the weekend, and apparently, he tipped a cab driver $15 on a $25 ride…but somehow, 60 percent isn’t a big enough tip in Boomer’s eyes?
“$15 on a $25 bill? That guy was probably thrilled,” Gio said, and Jerry agreed, but here came Booms:
“I do remember this, and one of the parts of the conversation Eddie didn’t mention is that I asked him if the guy knew who he was, as a quasi-celebrity, and what was your response?” Boomer asked.
“He barely knew who you were,” Eddie replied.
“Okay, so if that’s the case, you do what you do,” Boomer said back. “But if you’re known and representing our show, that’s not enough in my mind.”
Jerry and Gio were incredulous as this, but Booms took offense when one of them claimed he’s rich.
“Stop saying that! I’ve worked very hard, and I’m not going to apologize for being successful,” Boomer sternly said, to which Eddie replied: “I’ve worked very hard and I don’t make squat!”
And then came Boomer, generous colleague, off the top rope.
“You got a free Peloton that you don’t use!”
