Travis Kelce went viral for all the wrong reasons at the start of Sunday’s Super Bowl, as he bumped head coach Andy Reid and screamed in his face after a Chiefs turnover early in Sunday’s eventual overtime win.
Kelce and Reid ended the night celebrating a second straight championship together, so all seemed to be forgiven, but BT and Sal didn’t forget the incident.
“That was disgraceful,” BT said. “That was either a pound of force in the wrong direction from Andy Reid - God forbid - falling, and being one of the most talked about moments in the history of the Super Bowl for all the wrong reasons.
“Andy Reid almost fell. The aggressiveness between Kelce physically, and then just in his face berating. Who the hell do you think you are?”
Sal couldn’t agree more, and believes the reception could have been even worse if other players had done what Kelce did.
“Unacceptable behavior,” Sal said. “If that was Odell Beckham Jr., how would we be reacting? So why is it OK for Travis Kelce?
“That is disrespect to the highest level…that, to me, showed a character flaw in Travis Kelce.”
