The Jets and Giants are both facing 1-3 records and disastrous starts to hyped seasons, and could be heading for irrelevancy by Halloween.
Between the two teams, BT believes one is clearly better set up to put this season behind them and have a bright future.
"Trust me, I'm not pumped at all about being 1-3," BT said. "There's no doubt in my mind that the Jets future is brighter than the Giants.
"Even if they lose to Denver, the Jets future runs laps around Giants future. The Giants have no defense!"
Sal strongly disagreed, noting the quarterback position and his belief in Brian Daboll, but BT says it's the easiest argument to make between any New York teams of the same sport in terms of who has the brighter future.
"I think it's the easiest point to make…that's the easiest one of all the teams. There is no doubt the future of the Jets is better than the Giants," BT said. "Who is the best receiver? Garrett [Wilson]. Who is the best corner? Sauce [Gardner]…The Jets roster is just infinitely better than the Giants….the Giants look like an expansion team.
"In the next 2-3 years, you play this forward, who is the more successful franchise? To me, it's unequivocally the Jets."
