Craig called out C-Mac for turning on Brian Cashman after showing consistent support for the Yankees GM over the years, to which C-Mac angrily stood up for himself, and declared himself "not in the mood" to deal with unfound criticism.
C-Mac's bad mood happened to set off Evan's bad mood, as he said he earned the right to be mad at Max Scherzer, Justin Verlander, and the Mets.
"You're not allowed to be in a bad mood," Evan said. "You won two in a row and won the series. You're going into Tampa on a high, you should be excited. I have to watch two 40-year-old duds who did nothing for my franchise, for like $85 million, suck or not pitch."
C-Mac noted that, despite two straight wins over the Guardians, the Yanks are still painfully shorthanded and not playing particularly well, but Evan wasn't having it. His Mets have it way worse.
"You Yankee fans have had weeks to complain," Evan said. "Guess what? It's my turn."
Craig was on Evan's side.
"You don't complain and bitch like a child after a series win…Yankee fans are a bunch of crybabies right now," Craig said. "You won the series, you're going into Tampa red hot."
