Evan ready for miserable experience watching Jets/Giants game

Evan says there is too much on the line on Sunday for him to enjoy the Jets and Giants game at all.

He will instead spend three-plus hours stressing out over whether his Jets will avoid losing New York bragging rights for the next four years.

"Inject this game into my veins so I can get it over with," Evan said. "This is gonna feel like a tooth extraction, this football game on Sunday.

"We're gonna go to the Nets game tonight, I want them to win, but I'll be OK. But we've sat there in big games, and we sit there and look at each other and say, 'I hate sports. I freaking hate it. This is miserable. This is like a tooth extraction.' Most sporting events are not like that. But a lot of football games, and postseason games, are like that. The Jets and Giants, with so much on the line for both…that's a football game where I'm sorry, if you enjoy it, I don't know what to tell you. I'm gonna hate every second of it."

Morash noted that there will likely be a lot of drinking outside MetLife Stadium before the game, as thousands of fans try to settle their nerves before a game with plenty at stake, and Evan doesn't blame them at all.

"I actually think I'm gonna get completely drunk before this game," Evan said.
