Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith stopped by Dukes & Bell Wednesday for his weekly appearance and discussed the state of the team heading into Week 3 versus the New York Giants as they look to avoid an 0-3 start.

Smith knows the Giants will be chomping at the bit to earn their first win.

“The Giants are as desperate for a win as we are," said the Falcons coach. "We know we are going into a tough environment. Daniel Jones can move and extend plays... Saquon Barkley, Evan Engram and a bunch of wideouts.”

Coach Smith added that he knows the Giants will be gunning on defense as well.

“You look at them defensively, Patrick Graham, he has kind of a New England style. They are going to throw a lot of looks at you.”
