The Giants seem to be headed for a 1-5 record if they can’t beat the heavily-favored Bills on Sunday night, in a game where they will be without arguably their three most important players in Saquon Barkley, Daniel Jones, and Andrew Thomas.
If New York indeed loses, it will seemingly be buried already just six weeks into the season. But Gio still can’t sign on to the idea that Big Blue is this bad after winning a playoff game last season.
“I still can’t believe the Giants are this bad,” Gio said. “I’d be shocked if they won, but is it going to get that bad? Are we really going to have the conversation where the Giants are in discussion to get the No. 1 or No. 2 pick, and they will be in position to get Caleb Williams or Drake Maye? It can’t be. It can’t be!”
Boomer, who recently said the Giants look like the worst team in football right now, finds it hard to argue against what New York has put on tape so far.
“The numbers are what they are, man,” Boomer said.
