Could Daniel Jones be featured in season two of the hit Netflix show, “Quarterback?”
Boomer can’t confirm that, but that is one rumor he has heard as Jones prepares for his first season since signing a long-term deal with the Giants.
“Somebody told me yesterday, and I can’t confirm this for the life of me, that Daniel Jones may be in season two of “Quarterback” next year,” Boomer said. “It wouldn’t shock me. It’s Omaha Productions, and he spent a lot of time with Eli [Manning] in Westhampton.
I’m sure Eli was lobbying him to do it.”
Jones enjoyed the best year of his career last season, and Big Blue has enjoyed flying under the radar this offseason, operating under the shadows of the Jets and Aaron Rodgers. Boomer says one factor that could give Jones pause to agree to be in the show is the added exposure and potential distraction that would come along with it.
“Let’s say Daniel Jones does do it, and he has a bad couple games,” Boomer said. “‘Is it because all of the cameras are there?’”
