BT is still a big believer in Brian Daboll and his future as a head coach, but after reading the latest report of Daboll’s fiery nature, this time by Pat Leonard of the Daily News, BT wonders if there is a way that it all comes undone.
“There’s a lot of smoke here,” BT said. “If Daboll is yelling like an incensed, unhinged lunatic on game day, interfering with Wink…that is destructive. That’s a shelf life that is going to expire fast.
“This seems like a guy who I believe is a great asset. I really think he’s going to be a superstar if he doesn’t destroy himself.”
Sal is fully on Daboll’s side after reading the reports, and while BT is still riding with Daboll, he now worries that there is an avenue where Daboll ruins his own promise with his outward anger on the sidelines.
“When you can’t shut up on game day,” BT said. “To the point where you interfere to the point where there is chaos, that does not portend good things for the future.”
