Sal says the Giants had a good season given how it started, noting that expectations are always changing.
BT says the fans are losing their touch from the days when Big Blue was expected to be a regular contender.
“What I’m starting to see, Giants fans are getting soft,” BT said. “This is the Giants still, right? Four Lombardis, Parcells…Simms, Eli. Still the Giants?
“Six games, good season, fantastic. No it’s not, it stinks.”
BT didn’t want to hear the excuses about the injuries the Giants dealt with, including a season-ending ACL injury to Daniel Jones, especially when multiple teams with backup quarterbacks either competed for or clinched postseason spots in the final weeks of the regular season.
“Joe Burrow went down, and they found a way to stabilize their season in Cincinnati. Everyone goes down,” BT said.
“When you win a playoff game the year before, and Week 1 you lose 40-0 zip, and win six games in totality, it’s not a good season.”
