Sal opened Friday’s show declaring that belief in Brian Daboll will be all but gone if the Giants lose to the Commanders on Sunday, and fall to 1-6 on the season.
BT disagrees, and says if any part of the Giants regime should be questioned, it’s general manager Joe Schoen.
“I think that’s maybe the larger issue here,” BT said. “You are given players, and you coach them up…Schoen has not given Daboll good players. It’s early for Schoen, I get that. I’m not saying you fire him. But who is more suspect right now, the GM or the head coach? The GM, to me.”
Sal agrees that Schoen hasn’t been good so far, but doesn’t understand how he could be getting more blame than Daboll for the Giants’ disastrous season so far. For BT, look no further than his draft performance so far.
“[Evan] Neal stinks, [Kayvon] Thibodeaux is not that good,” BT said. “Paris Campbell is a scrub.”
