C-Mac, after watching the Giants get blown out by the Seahawks, can’t figure out what happened to the well-coached team that won multiple late and close games last season en route to a playoff berth.
“What the hell happened to this team?” C-Mac said. “That was so buttoned up, so well coached…they have played two home games and lost 64-3! I don’t care what the schedule is.
“They are a horrendously coached football team. The amount of penalties…the special teams are a joke. Whether it’s running into the kicker, flags on every play, dropping punts. Atrocious.”
The missed tackles that plagued Big Blue against the 49ers were back on Monday, especially on a Noah Fant touchdown down the sideline.
“What happened to the toughness? I don’t care who is missing,” C-Mac said. “The Seahawks were missing their two tackles on the offensive line, and they were still able to function.
“This team is so poorly coached at the moment. They had 11 days to come up with this? To come up with an offense that can’t function?”
Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen were praised after last season, but now, the honeymoon is over.
‘The bloom is off the rose with this head coach who we all loved, and the GM too,” C-Mac said. “Last year was just a mirage that fooled us all.”
