The Giants offensive line has given up a whopping 18 sacks in the past two weeks, allowing another seven in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Dolphins.
The sixth sack of the day for Miami knocked Daniel Jones out of the game with a neck injury, leaving C-Mac to wonder how, after all these years, the offensive line continues to be a disaster for Big Blue.
“It never ends,” C-Mac said. “It’s not just game after game, week after week. It’s season after season…coach after coach, GM after GM. I’m so sick of it.
“They have put so much draft equity into the offensive line, it’s a joke they haven’t been able to figure it out.”
Evan Neal went viral after allowing an edge rusher to blow right by him untouched, while Jones was once again under heavy fire all day. Any fill-ins that the Giants have tried have not worked, leaving fans like C-Mac in an all-too familiar place of loathing the lack of protection.
“This offense was unable to do anything, the quarterback is just absolutely getting killed…they have zero depth at this offensive line,” C-Mac said. “The Andrew Thomas injury was so much worse than the Saquon Barkley, it’s not even worth mentioning. They are lost without him. This offensive line is a joke.
“They are just awful. Trying to watch them, it’s just awful.”
