Monday marked the debut of a new segment on Carton & Roberts: the Two-Question Interview!

The rules are simple: producer Tommy Lugauer books a guest, and they get two questions – one from Craig and one from Evan, who flips a coin to see which host goes first; heads for Carton, tails for Roberts.

Craiggy won the initial coin flip, and so, after hours of mining his Rolodex and coming up empty (at least getting two declines, though, in his defense), Loogy broke the rules ONE DAY IN and found an announcer…it’s WFAN’s Bob Papa on the debut segment!

CRAIG asks: Would you please sell me on why Daniel Jones is the future at quarterback for the New York Giants?

Papa: “I think we saw enough good things from him last year, with some of the rookie records he set, and I’m giving him a pass this season; rookie offensive linemen, Saquon Barkley out, having to learn a new offense after learning his first offense last year…I’m going to give him a little more time before making a change.”

EVAN asks: How would you assess the job Jason Garrett has done in 2020?

Papa: “I went into a Twitter rabbit hole and now I have to back myself out of it. Did Jason Garrett call really good plays in Pittsburgh and then Daniel Jones did the one thing he absolutely can’t do? Did a receiver no longer on the team make a mistake in Dallas? Did Garrett not call a great game in Philadelphia and then Evan Engram dropped a pass? I think he’s done a great job considering they don’t have one player on their offense that teams have to hardcore game plan for.”
